THE DATES HAVE BEEN SET FOR
OUR 40TH!
The Classes of 1969, 1970 and 1971 will celebrate a joint 40th reunion on June 25-26, 2010. It's gonna be BIG! Details are worked out, the events have been decided, and you can view them in the "Events" section. In the meantime, everyone please - stay healthy, happy ..... and (of course) foolish! :)
Our 35th class reunion was a great success, thanks to all who made it happen, and that includes all that attended.
To everyone who was there, thank you for making it the best one yet, and to everyone who couldn't/didn't make it, you were sorely missed.
Jimmy Winstead, where were you?
If you weren't there - get this - in the middle of the party at Maxwell's Saturday night, Othea, dressed in full regalia as "the King of Rock and Roll", joined the Chill (w/ Urban TR, and featuring the internationally (in)famous trombonist and glorified yard man, Wilson McClain) for a spirited rendition of "Jailhouse Rock" ("wait a minute, guys, I'm trying to remember the guy's name [Shifty Henry]... okay, I got it, pick it up from the dunh - dunh"), and Kat, he just can't help falling in love with you.
Carol - thankyouthankyouthankyou
Carl and Charlotte Nyman won the rubber chicken for longest distance traveled. Thanks, y'all, for making the trip - all the way from Venezuela, and we trust that you, and everyone, had a safe trip home.
Natalie and Bobby -
Thanks for hosting the welcome party.
Everything was perfect.
You set the mood for a great weekend.
I feel safe in saying, without reservation ... it was a good time.
Duck -
your "young and foolish"
friends are still missing you....
It appears we're gonna keep this site up, so, if you haven't, please register in the Classmates section and let us know where you are and how you are. If you have pictures or stories to share, send them to me at d and I will post them....(someday)
To keep the site for five years takes a little cash, folks, so we're asking everyone that hasn't lost their ranch to a hurricane to send $20 or so to:
HV Cooper Class of 1970
208 Woodstock Place
Vicksburg, MS 39180
Thanks....
